Opis
The article illustrates authentic mobile experiential learning in history class with a topic entitled Prehistoric cultural heritage in Slovenia. Using Actionbound, an app for creating digitally interactive scavenger hunts, students performed fieldwork in Novo mesto archaeological sites and learned about the cultural heritage preserved in the Museum of Dolenjska. The activities lasted five hours, connecting history, fine art and geography. In addition to learning about the life of the Hallstatt Culture (museum exhibition, Actionbound) and creating new situla art images in digital form (videos from the art on the bronze situlae) and in real life (T-shirt printing with images of stylized glass strawberries), students developed a responsible and positive attitude toward the preserved prehistoric cultural heritage collection, which is open to visitors at the central museum in Lower Carniola.
